After much consideration, finally took the plunge and upgraded to Logic 9, although I was hoping that Logic X would be released on the App Store instead.

Logic 9

Overheard an interesting conversation over dinner. A father began by asking his two teenage daughters in the presence of his wife, "Which is worst? A man finding out that his wife is having an affair or a woman finding out that her husband is having an affair?"

It got particularly strange when the elder daughter rephrased the question for the younger daughter, "Is it worst if mommy found out that daddy was having an affair, or daddy finding out mommy had an affair?"

There was a slight pause at the table, and then the younger daughter asked "Is it with a man or a woman?"

Been inspired a bit by what’s going on around me and listening to friends. I guess it’s funny when you thought everything was all planned out, the new chapter has begun and then you realize that life still has that one unexpected twist.

People say things happen for a reason. But really, do they? People also say you have to make the best of it. I guess in all the negativity, it’s hard to see clearly. But when the smoke clears, do you really think, “I’m glad that happened” or do you still curse at yourself and think, “I’m a really unlucky person”?

Finally managed to catch “The Adventures of TinTin” in the movie theaters the other day. In 3D! It was quite exciting to actually watch a comic character I read as a child come to life on the big screen. But a funny thing, the things we imagine and dream when we are young. We never really know what to expect from them.

I really have to stop procrastinating. I guess you get so caught up in thinking in your head how you want something to be that that’s what happens. Just thinking about it. Doesn’t help much that there are so much distractions nowadays.

Sure. There’s Facebook, there’s twitter, there’s so many other blogs and news to read before beginning to work. Wait.. just 5 minutes will do. And the 5 minutes turns to 30 minutes and before I realize, an hour has passed and there’s not much time left. Really. Too many forms of communication can be a distraction. There wasn’t as much to do 10 years ago.

Took me a while, but finally migrated all the comments for the content on the website to disqus. Now people would be able to comment as a guest or as a facebook user.

In addition, content from here can be shared on facebook, twitter or Goggle+, not that I'm sure anybody is using Google+.

Back to music tracking tomorrow...

So I began re-arranging some of the music I've done, and re-recording some parts as well as adjusting the leads in the currently titled "Freaking World".

I've been re-listening and re-listening to various parts of this song over and over again. And it's driving me crazy. Imagine listening to the same thing over and over again for hours on end.
